i'm looking for a supplier of white /natural buck tails.. i need the fur on them to be at least 4 " long or longer if possible ,..I've been buying saltwater bucktails from the States for the last few years but the pound/dollar is'nt so good and the postage is horrendous

I get through quite a lot of them ..probably 20-30 a month during peak season

There is one supplier in the UK I found .. but he's always out of stock

Anyone any suggestions ?

thanks

Andy

I have "Hairline Dubbin Inc" version from Lakeland. May be who you tried?

Bug Bond comes from a gentleman called David Edwards

I think he's a member on here ... Offshore

Bug-Bond

Its fantastic stuff with no residue like the tuffleye

Its not sticky either so it can be brushed through synthetics to stiffen them and prevent hook fouling

i also apply it to the JC eyes , makes them more durable

Yes i'm a yakker .. prowler 15 ..and I'm doing a charity paddle for CFR so you can all sponsor me

its only 250 odd mile ..say a tenner a mile each ?

28th may - 6th June Belleek to Limerick

all about it here

I've used the UV gel before .. its too brittle one backcast off rocks and it'll shatter.

I've double hauled a bug bond sandeel into a wall on the end of a T14 and its remained intact ..few scratches but still intact and fishable

Andy
