Default Steel Blue Flies

Was messing about with grey and blue and came up with these patterns, just thought of steel blue with the colours

First one
Hook; size 10 red
Butt; fluorescent floss No.11
Tail; white cock hackle fibres
Body; grey blue floss
Body hackle; black cock (palmered)
Rib; gold tinsel
Hackle; steel grey hen

Then i thought a wet fly with black and grey hen hackles

Then i thought bumble

Then i thought sedge

Far to much time on your hands
Nice ties.
Blue has always been a funny colour for me, sometimes it works, but generally not Perhaps it just my ineptitude.

Your prob right Graham on the time issue....well might be out soon as its warming up a bit and pops might make a move. Was doing some iron blues and decided to give these a burl, with the grey and black hackles combined i think they will work ok.

Very Nice flies there, I might just give that wet a try with standard coloured hook not red.
