Have bought 4 lots of this chaps thread on ebay got the last 20 spools for £6
Its ideal for flies size 12 and bigger

Drima is a Coats brand (I have a full colour selection from when I used to visit Coats factories in the '80's). It is produced for apparel sewing applications and as such is a heavier thread than the average fly tying thread. You will find it also is somewhat "hairier" than most.

(The Co. I work for developed a sensor to actually measure "hairiness" of a yarn for thread applications, together with yarn profile- thread evenness coefficient etc. We also supply Coats world-wide with their dye machine controls for the colouration process.).

That said, I use it for larger flies, it is quite strong and good for build up if you want to build a body shape etc.
