Default Prismatic or Holographic?

Was wondering what the difference is between prismatic/holographic tinsel.

Is there a difference? If so what are the main uses of each?

Lastly, I've been using utc holo red this past few years in different widths. Is it me or has the colour changed on this brand. What is the best holo/prism tinsel?

Cheers

Ray

Hello Ray, I think the best Holographic Tinsel is the ones that you can find, as for prismatic I've no idea, but I bought these at a Fishing Fair, I halved them with a good friend on this forum, I have used different coloured holo's for 30yrs.I used to buy them from Calebra's in the USA.
The second picture is Florists ribbon which I've strip cut on a Paper Trimmer to 1mm 2mm and 3mm widths this makes bodies, thorax covers etc, some of the colours are bright but not all, if you can't find the colours you want look to this material.
