Hi Guys
Rob~ Good point ! i started my fly fishing 3 years back on winter stocked rainbows and got pretty goood at it

When i moved to wilder loch with wild browns and stocked rainbows or escapee rainbows i struggled to catch the browns

Although it has been said this may be due more to how im retreiving my flys rather than my flies ?? Personally i my mind i seem to put wild browns on a pedestal , dont know why ! Ive caught wild brown on my lite damsel but never on a goldhead fritz lure damsel ??
To be honest i was thinking about a post possible "sticky- resource" to help beginners or guys like me who move from stocked bows to wild browns ? i.e a list of fly patterns one should use to "Specifically target" ?? Rainbows will eat just about anything orange blobs, fag butts etc i always feel browns are more discerning ??? Views most welcome .....................
