Default My Favourite Style!

I can't seem to stop tying in my favourite style at the moment. I have been tying this style all week in all colour variations. I fully intend to to wet them next week at Hillend Loch.

Default

size 12 hook
thread hot orange
dyed black pheasent Tail
black possum body ribbed with mirage tinsel
body hackle black hen ribbed with red wire
head hackle sunburst hen

To get the hackles stroking back you need a nice soft hen hackle. Then when tying them in stroke them back after every turn. I learned a lot for Davie McPhail You tube videos. Check them out you will learn so much from his vids.
