I agree with earlier comments that it's not a diawl bach - it's more of a snatcher pattern.
But we can get too caught up with all this naming lark.
It's a nice concept for fishing the upper layers and you've had the imagination and confidence to put it together.
Use those same qualities when you fish it and tight lines!

Good shout,,,Hope you catch hunners and hunners a biggys at howwood tomorrow with it scott,,,cheers edd

Scott, are you trying to say you are a wee mincer with a hairy snatcher??

I did see one of these serving me a cerveza in a bar in Lisbon on Wednesday night

Personally, I think it is a cracking flee and I would be happy to have it on the point to hold up a team of nymphs or buzzers and allow them to sink very slowly - reckon the 'bows will snaffle that

we all have to start somewhere
the only thing is , it will put guys off putting flies up , who are the same as myself learning ,and who would like help on the correct way of doing things
please be a wee bit lenient to us guys with the L plates ON
thanks Scott
You wont learn much if everybody keeps back slapping you ,Albeit Bigtroot could of added a wee bit of his vast knowledge to his post. You seem to be just chucking things at your hooks looking to come up with winners or inventing something that has not been done before . Just chill learn the basics start by tying buzzers etc get good at them , then move onto wets , snatchers etc , then dry,s its a steady progression. The flies you are putting up are confusing and for people to praise you is in my eyes leading you up the path , granted they might be mates just trying to gee you up, but they need to put a constructive note with there posts . The truth is always the best good or bad .

P.S Diawl Bach thingy my ar5e
