Default Ive started for this season

Now Im laid up for a few weeks Ive started tying in ernest. These are for the March Browns, hopefully by the time I get to the river there will still be some about!!! Im also giving Turkey biots a go aswell.

This is my attempt at a Jingler!! Im not sure if Ive got it correct I cant remember or find the dressing and we lost all the flies out my box last outing to the Tweed last April!! Ive tied it on a 103 bl size 14. and I also decide to tie the tail at a slight angle and I dont know why but I did!!

This is a new addition to my box to compliment Buzz's Bread and butter a copy of Mr Wiltshire's CDC dun. I hope its Ok? The winging technique is new to me and needs a bit more practise! Its tied on a size 12 Dohiku hdn 302.

Then I came up with a brain wave to tie 1 of Roy Christies Reversed Parachute Emergers only to see that the Bigbadtrout chappy had beaten me to the draw after I had done a search!!!!

If the second one is meant to be a dry, toss it in a glass of water and make sure the hook shank doesn't sink. I suspect you haven't got enough tail to support the hook bend.

Jingler as follows,

Partridge fibres for the tail, brown hen for hackle, followed by 1-1 1/2 turns of partridge at the front, thread for body. Be as messy as you like. The Jingler is a great crippled dun imitation.

Cheers mate I was pretty damn close. The only thing thats different is the tail.

Good job there! Tasty critters.

On the Mr. Wiltshire dun you can be a bit more aggressive with your scissors and cut the CDC closer to belly, but that is just minor detail
