Well,when is about grey flies(actualy i dont know what you talking about,there is no such ephemeras ) i love this one,made with hares ear,dun hackle and wings made of starling (or stone partridge)

Sorry joni no fun intended if you struggle to understand....tye 300 flies and go outside and hold them up at the sky and 9 out of 10 you will see grey just how it is mate....not rocket science but a true fact of life...only thing is when do you see colour when you look up??....thats the clue.

hahaha...that means then 9 of 10 flies we use is suppose to be gray..that is redicolous

Maybe joni...but when you walk in shadow of big building is it red,green,olive,yellow..or is it diff shades of grey going on black when sun totally blocked out.
