Here's a little (1cm long) pattern I picked up from Claes Johansson. Actually easier to tie than one might think. Enjoy:

Excellent terrestrial pattern Steve. What did you use for the wing? Was it Json & co wing material sheets?

Terrestrial? A dry buzzer! I need to remember to keep the abdomen thin and wings shorter than the body.

Claes Johansson owns J:Son&Co. The wings are from General wing material and burners (size 4, the smallest). They can be used for stone flies etc. Wee little flotation devices.

Body is black thin foam (done the "normal" way as per Steve Thornton). Hackle is grizzly genetic cock. Antennae are emu herl. Thread is Danville's Spiderweb.
