Hello All, Thanks for your kind replies about the materials, I've been messing about with many materials for about the last 2 years.
I was in Hobbycraft when I got my eye on some sheet holigraphical sheeting it was 52p for 3 sheets so I bought 5 bags, so what I did was peel the backing paper off on 2 sheets red and green then stick them together. then I cut them into strips ie 1mm 2mm and 3mm on a paper trimmer which I bought at Staples.
With the florists ribbon I stick the sticky side of parcel tape to it I then strip cut it with the paper trimmer.
To-day I was stripping speckled gold holigraph it really looks great, this material comes with a paper backing so to remove it I steam it just over a pan then remove it with my finger, then I stick the parcel tape to it as it is very strong and easy to cut.
I've tried another photo so I hope it is enlarged.

Robbie
