That really is very small !! How do flies this small sit on or in the water ??? does it lay on its side as I cant see how the hook would break through the surface film ?? Does it actually mater anyway ???

Nice work as ever though

Doesn't matter about breaking through the surface - it can sit on the surface. They are so light that just a tiny bit of dilly wax (or similar) on the wing will have it floating no problem.

Perhaps not for everyday use, but a bit of fun on a hard day - especially under leafy bows

Jeez mate whats up with your eyesight. Can you not manage a 32. That things massive!

Do you actually see it in the surface or do you strike at movement where you think it is ?

Thanks Dave , I just wondered if it "had" to sit upright with hook down or if it didn't matter , that answers the question , cheers .

As I said , nice bit of work all the same
