Do you mean goose biots? Alternatively, and easily available are goose 'secondaries', dyed in a variety of colours and used to create married wings in salmon flies - the fibres / herls of these can also be wound although they are a touch delicate.

Tougher, and perhaps a better option would be condor herl (or substitute).

Most fly tying material suppliers have them - Lakeland, Celtic Fly Craft etc etc.

With regard to Jungle Cock, a decent cape is so expensive I wouldn't consider buying one 'blind' on line.

You can buy Jungle Cock capes from Wharfedale Angling. The link below is just for the feathers and not a cape, you could give them a ring and ask if they have a cape. Unless you find somewhere else.

Goose feathers are feathers where you can strip it of its 'herl'.

Goose feathers

Hope this helps.

Cheers for that, i have plenty biots, i have seen a pic of buzzers tied with a body of goose herl and they looked stunning and the guy said on his tag that they gave the fly a bit more movement than peacock herl. I can't remember where i seen this pic on this site i think?, i will look into the goose secondaries and see if its what im looking for.

Goose shoulder, as in the link by Articfoxfly, is the stuff you want for herl buzzer bodies. You can get them from loads of places. You may have seen something like this before..

or this one..

from Jindra's recent thread.

As lighthouse points out, goose shoulder can be delicate but probably not much more so than hen pheasant tail.

Steve Cooper at Cookshill is ALWAYS worth a try, tell him what you want & he'll match it & if it's not what you want he'll refund or swap it for you

If you are refering to the latter picture, then then I can tell you with fair certainity the fly was tied with goose shoulder feather by Veniard in color Olive. The herl is indeed rather delicate, thus it is a good idea to reinforce it with counter ribbing.
And thanks for your kind words ;-)

i have used pigeon herl for black buzzers with some success but is a bit fragile, or try crow- from feathers found lying about.
