Default Rooks saltwater flies.

Forum user ROOK, asked if i could tie up a few saltwater flies, for him to try out on a few outings he will be doing this year.

lovely flies dai. is that peacock hearl that you've used in the fly? i'm sure they'll catch loads of fish but if that is hearl isn't it likely to come of the fly? i'm no expert so please pardon my ignorance

hi dai, Once again another superb set of flies. one of the rooks outings this summer will be with myself and stupike ,we haven't finalised a date yet but we will be targeting pollack of the rocks and then bass off the beach and personally i think the uv sandeels will work a treat but will definately post a report later to let you know how we fare regards Tam

Hi B, Thanks for comments, and yes it is peacock herl, it will surprise you how much the herl will put up with. use it a lot on saltwater patterns and sewin/ salmom flies plus my pike patterns, and it hangs in there.
