This was something i came across on my second visit to an Irish lake, my guide for the day introduced me to his flies that are deadly....he tied them on and then licked them and stroked them with his fingers until they became the shape you see, he then told me he wets all his flies this way and would sleep on them over night....under the mattress...or flatten them between books..Now you know what i know.

It would actually take wild salmon on Irish lakes, and tied on diff hooks would work in the rivers too.....sod it ill even say the brownies would have a nibble.
