I have the Arrow Head version of these. £17, not cheap as chips but they have good blade contact all the way down to a very fine point.

I wouldn't recommed any particular brand Chris. It seems like scissors are a bit like flies, flourocarbon etc - Everyone has their faves, most folk never stop experimenting and looking for the ulimate, and an awful lot of b ollocks is talked, and money wasted. I steer clear of expensive scissors (Steve, it hurts more when you drop them points first on a stone floor). All I can tell you is that the Sportfish equivalent of the Dr.Slick are streets ahead in every aspect. Got some Dr.Pants a couple of weeks ago.... they were blunt from the start, got even blunter VERY quickly, and developed play in a couple of days. Total bag 'o sh!te.

Got a pair of Stevie Munn scissors from Santa. Excellent bit of kit and he assures me they were reasonably priced.

Take a wee bit of getting used to maybe, but most people can usually manage to make a pair of scissors work

Just remebered Callum 5 thumbs, he used to struggle quite a bit.
