Default New dabblers -long hackles

Hello,
Some new dabblers that were born last season.The long hackles are from the golden pheasant body skin as used on the tails of salmon shrimp flies.They have accounted for some cracking trout on the loughs including a 6lb trout from lough mask last season.
First one is FIREY BROWN DABBLER LONG WING.

Default Dabblers

Top tyings mate - a very nice variant which I would use any day on the Loughs.

Nice tyings IF, I've been using this pattern for a good few years now. Very good fish catchers on their day.

The above have done very well on lough lene and owel last season.
The black one seems to be doing the business rightly.

Guys,
Just got some pm's for the dressings for the claret dabbler.
The long hackle version as in the start of the thread

Tail=bronze mallard
Rib=Oval silver tinsel
Rear body=hot orange dubbing
Main body=Claret dubbing.
Body hackle-palmered long saddle claret hackle
Head hackle= Golden pheasant body skin hackle dyed claret.
Wings- Rolled bronze mallard
Cheeks=Jungle cock

The firey brown dabbler ribbing on the body is flouescent orange floss.
It gives the fly that 'lift' in the water.
