There's been this 1/4 page advert in one of the comics, you know the sort of thing hard sell all the way etc - a fish a cast - you name it. So I sent for the "free" dvd & all the sales blurb & you had to buy 2 dispensers of liquid which you impregnated onto some egg style flies, also supplied. The stuff is water washable, so needs to be replaced after every cast, sorry fish. & true to his word, it was "a fish a chuck".

I don't want to go down that route just to fill my bag with fish, I'd rather enjoy the ambience of the fishery & if I do catch, then great. If the competition fishers want to return to the lodge after they've limited in a matter of minutes, that's up to them or the fishery concerned. My own personal view is if I wanted to go coarse fishing, which I don't; this is a way that I'm sure some people would choose.
