Lightbulb Perch immitation

Having re read steve walker's thread, i realised he was not trying to tie a perch immitation, but fry patterns to catch perch on. Either way his thread inspired me to have a go at a perch immitation, so i've started a new thread rather than hijack his...

Dry it looks like this...

Use a rabbit strip over the back like a zonker and shave it down...or trim with scissors.

Looks to have the impression of colour and shape of a perch in it. When we think of what is characteristic of a perch, we think the sharply defined dark vertical bars are important - I wonder if they are important to a trout or not?
