thank-you for the kind comments, the main hackle is from a chartreuse dyed grizzly saddle from chris at lath kills, there nice and long i can get 2 flies from each one plus enough left for smaller flies .

I'll tell you what, when I first looked at these flies, I didn't really look at the cape, I just thought it was a fern on the table in the back ground.
