Nowhere near as good as Silversedge but i think it will take a wee troot or two

Personally i would trim it back so its just past the bend of the hook,you do what YOUR happy with Scott,and your head is much better,i can see me rifling your boxes on opening day

I use one very similar.
you need allot of them, because they don't last long, the marabou in the wing gets ripped/torn off easily.
I wonder if artic fox would be a good replacement for the marabou?

Some nice patterns.

In answer to the durabilty aspect I have what I call my RAC cormorant.

Glo brite floss no 4 tied a wee bit round the bend like Scott's, herl body ribbed with 3lb nylon and a wing made of black rabbit.

Taken from a black zonker strip.

I have caught wild broonies and rainbows on it.
