I always feel like that after loads of Lager and a kick @rse Ruby.

I served my time (joiner) with a load of guys who had digits, and bits of missing, due to the big saws we worked with. The noise from these machines was murder also.
The problem was when cutting up the planks I would shout to the guys and ask, "How many lenghts need to be cut"
They would hold up their hands to let me see.
