Default First klinkhammer attempt

Ive only been tying a couple of months. I tried a few klinkhammers for the first time last night and this is the best of them! Constructive criticism greatly appreciated

Not bad you hackle looks a little bit soft, is it a genetic dry cape/saddle.
I like the post with the different dcolours.

The hackle is keough tyers grade grizzle, i'm pretty sure its genetic dry fly stuff. Its my first cape, well half a cape.

I can't take the credit for the double coloured wing post, I saw some lads from the Derwent AA tying klinks like this at the northern fly fishing show. Seemed a clever idea for changing light/reflections on the water.

very impressive,
i found the step by step on dave wiltshire's site the easiest way for me to tie these worth a look if you've not seen.
