Default New Petitjean Bobbin Holder.

Anyone tried this new tool out yet? Magnus Angus seems very impressed with it in the present edition of FF&FT. Easy loading that does away with the need for multiple holders; adjustable tension and converts to a dubbing twister.

It's not available in the UK yet. Nor is there any info on the Petitjean site , but American suppliers are carrying it.

It's a good tool, not too fiddly, and quite easy to get the hang of.
It's just another thing to add to the fly tying tools collection.
I bet you go back to your old bobbin holder?

I got one at the BFFI, its great but wildly overpriced. Ideal for floss when it keeps separating.

Was it worth 2 pages and a very iffy slot in the vintage valuations section?
You might end up thinking a few freebies must have made their way to Perthshire

So that's what you spent my money on. You kept that quiet.
At $50 US I think I wil struggle on with my old ones.

Marco,
Thanks for the link. It certainly looks like a very nice tool.
