Just thought I would ask if you are happy with the layout of the fly tying forums or would you like to see some new ones such as salmon and/or saltwater or something else?

Always trying to improve things!

Thanks

For the amount of Salmon and Saltwater stuff that gets shown Richard, I think you may as well just keep it as it is... I can't see separate sections being of any benefit. Good to see them all in one section anyway. No too mithered either way though to be honest.

Agree with Scratch, but a couple of tying competitions like the ones that Scratch did last year would be nice for next winter, maybe different categories for different style and ability,

I wouldn't want to appear negative on any Forum improvements but I religiously scan all threads in the sea trout, and most in the salmon section.
I would be afraid of missing-out if these patterns were only posted in Fly Tying (a section I don't visit often enough).

If we are 'splitting' then it would be good to have a section just for river dries.

Seems to work well to me as it is.

I agree with Rob that there's not enough salmon flies posted to warrant it's own section.

The only split that could be useful may be stillwater / river... just a thought.

I like it as it is . Reason being with it all under one roof I do bother to look at threads such as salmon and and pike flies even though I don't tie or use these I still find it interesting . If they were to be put in their own forums I wouldn't bother to go and look as I really am that lazy ..

Works well for me. Only thing i could say is a couple of forums i use have a sub forum in the fly tying bit for fly swap photos. Its only the swap photos that gets posted in there good way of not lossing them on the board and lets everyone look back at the photos.

I like it the way it is. Splitting it up could make it a bit messy.
