Default Thinking of getting a Snowbee Waldren vice ?

Just had the new catalogue arrive from Snowbee, & the vice is now £249 +++ instead of the prices some are still listing it at (£199 Atkins Angling was the first one I checked) so if you were thinking of getting one, ACT NOW.

In this case the extra fifty quid would be a sound investment

There's one in the display cabinet in John Norris (Penrith) marked at £185, don't know if they have more than one as I couldn't find this vice in the catalogue or online.

Please dont heed this advice , Ask people in the trade most will tell you its not worth £190 nevermind £249 . Best advice i could give is look at the DYNA-KING range the kingfisher starts at £120 up to round about £300 for a top end one absolute superb vices , they do everything you need a vice to do.

Crossan, as a long term D/K Pro owner I wouldn't consider using ANYTHING else. I've tried most of them, Law included; but they just don't work for me.

I'm just alerting other members who think this is the way they might want to go, if they do good luck to them.

Well Said Arkle , They are indeed the best vices in my opinion i have been using them for a good few years now . Once tried a law as well cosmetically very nice but not £200 better than a dyna . Infact i prefered the dyna..

Make sure you search this site for reviews of Atkins Angling before you place an order and then make up your own mind!!

Atkins Angling just happened to be the first name that google found. As I don't want one of these vices I should have thought most people who might want one, would try several other suppliers as well. I've never dealt with them, so am not in a position to comment about them.
