Default Are there any traders on this site selling C&F kit?

I'm after a spare holder for my 3-in-1 bobbin..

Default A warm cuddly post about myself. Don't take offence.

A person on this forum is very stupid.

Take as an example a recent posting by a well known and highly regarded fly-tyer looking for a spare spool to go on his fancy 73-in-1 C&F Marco Polo bobbin so that he could try out some new easily-splittable silks that he'd just purchased (from a little Boutique Fly-Tying shop that he knows).

His whole production line of astonishingly high-grade well-tied flies had been held up while he waited to load these new silks, not wanting to waste the ones already on the spool.

If only he'd realised a week or two ago that he could just unclip the trendy 152-in-1 C&F Marco Polo spool and slot the new spool of thread in..

Although, I still might spend a load of money on a new spool because I don't want a cheap plastic bobbin ruining the look of my C&F stuff and also, I have to take the spool out when I pack everything away which is a pain and also it's a really good excuse not to tie a load of flies because I'll just get pestered by collectors if they know I'm tying flies..

It's vaguely ironic in a way. You can get pretty much anything and get away with pretty much anything on the interweb: instructions on how to make a bomb; astonishingly lurid pornography; a whole new on-line life.

What you can't do with impunity, it seems, is have a laugh at yourself. To be fair on admin they did apologise and maybe the original title was a little inflamatory, but as I said on the viewpoint thread, everyone will have known that 'well known and highly regarded fly-tyer' meant me.

Everybody knows that. Even my Granny and she's been dead these two decades.
