Default Fiery Polar Dabbler

This is one of the flies I've tied up for my early season outings...

The dressing is ...

Hook - Kamasan B175 sz12
Thread - Black Uni 8/0
Tail - Bronze Mallard, with 2 pieces of ginger twinkle underneath
Rib 1 - Pearl Mylar sz 14
Rib 2 - Fine Red Uni Wire
Body - Fiery Brown Seals Fur Mix (Fiery Brown, Hot Orange, Golden Olive, Yellow seals fur, well mixed)
Body Hackle - Fiery Brown Saddle
Front Hackle - Fiery Brown Saddle
Wing 1 - Hot Orange Polar Bear
Wing 2 - Bronze Mallard
Cheeks - Jungle Cock

A pic will never fully do some materials justice , like the polar bear for example .

Thanks for the positive comments lads.

Jimmy, I get nearly all of my capes from Pat Nolan in Nenagh, if you arrive at the right time you could end up with some spectacular colours at decent prices to boot.

Peter/Danny, your spot on with the Polar, It never shows up well in photos but held against natural light it has a 'life' that does add to any pattern, specifically traditional wets.
