Default Roy Christie's Reversed Parachute Emerger

Had a go of tying this emerger today. It's my first time trying this mono-loop post technique.

All feedback appreciated.

Hi Steve, very nice first attempt only thing you should change is the length of the tails! they are too long m8.

Looks tidy Steve. What is the hook, is it a living nymph style?

The tying looks ok.

Not sure about the pattern though, what is it supposed to be?

While I can appreciate one might come across a difficult trout, occasionally, I'm not sure that something like that is the answer?

Looks good, though I agree with Dry Fly Only, seems more of a quirky pattern than something that you could fall on as a never fail.

That looks dead on mate. Don't worry about the tail. It will still catch fish.

I have several compartments of one of my wheatleys with only Roy Christie drys ,they dont get used often but when you have fussy fish both trout and grayling ,they do give you an big edge !
I have even a few dressed myself ,no where as good as Roys ,and his shrimps are something else !

It's far from a quirky pattern,I fished with them last season on the Clyde.
XL50 John, and Robert bigbad, both tie them very nicely, and they work a treat I assure you.
