Hello folks as you have seen ive been messing about with these feathers and wondering where the ones i have come from, a kind forum member sent me a few bigger than mine and it still remains a mystery to me which ones i have. So with the ones i have recieved i made this fly and hope the member that sent me this feather approves.

Thats a wondeful looking flee. Those Feathers are beautiful.
I have a bag of them in my tying chest this post has has just reminded me of them. Will be tying something similar with them tonight. Cheers!.

What sort of pheasant are these feathers from?

Thankyou...yes i agree beautiful feathers and i am just pleased to have been given the opportunity of using them by generous forum members, hope the flies i produce aid some success for those concerned.

Where can you get the skin of a hen pheasant? or are they from the wings? Not near my gear at moment
