Just thought i would put it up with ingredients, my little bags of fun all done so this last bunch.

Hook; size 10 kam b175
Tail; cock pheasant
Rib; oval gold wire
Body; creamy yellow dubbing
Body hackle; honey cock hackle
Shoulder hackle; ginger furnace
Head hackle; picric french partridge

Hi kevin...i was actually tying some wet mays on lighter hooks...a drop of gink and there you go...im not convinced trout actually take that many dries.

Do you ever catch the live Mayflies and go dapping with them.
I have only seen it once before on some programme.

No m8...im the same only watched the shows, i would say i have adopted into the way i fish watching flies struggle to leave the surface film...fish seem to like the stragglers more, once the fly has left the water the fish will have to leap out and get it, although spectacular when this happens fish prefer to stay in the water,maybe better to have spent patterns for when they fall back into the water....sorry i am thinking like a fish now
