I received tiemco 103bl in size 15 & 17 and had one look at them then offloaded them, these wont make you feel confident once you see them max!
A resident blue on the lake will straighten it i would guess, back to all purpose mediums i guess

It really depends on what you want to tie. For river dries (Paradun's, CDC & Elk, Griffiths Gnat, LDO, Hawthorn, F Flies etc.), I use the 103BL with complete confidence.

I would use these hooks on the small/medium stillwaters too, but on these waters I usually fish Shipmans and CDC Shuttlecocks and for them I use Kamasan B160's (shuttlecocks) and B170's (Shipmans). There's a bit more weight in the B160 than the equivalent 103BL and I find that this settles the fly quicker. Also, I like the short shank for my Shuttlecocks, but a B170 is good too.

Regards,
Brennan

I've found the tmc103bl's bend and snap a bit too often too, and not neccessarily with BIG fish

I prefer the 100SPBL and never had a problem with them
