Hook - Charles Jardine 12
Body - Red Spanflex
Horns - Red Spanflex
Thorax - Red Spike Guard Hair
Thorax Hood - Pheasant Tail
Thread - Uni 8/0 Red

Yeh very nice and sure to work .

What's the story with that hook ?? Why is there a dark line showing all the way to the point , like it is inside the red if you see what I mean

Yeh I guessed that was most likely the case , very odd how it has ended up looking like that though ...

yeah, looks like a cool effect, dont know what has caused it really as they isnt any shadow infront of the fly as i have 4 lights on...hmmm lol

Is like some buzzers I have done , if you hold them to the light you see the hook inside and it looks good I think , kind of like ..... well a gut tube , buzzers insides or something along those lines .

Still scratching my head as to why yours looks like that all the way to the point though

the body is only translucent spanflex so it is prett see through so im guessing thatas the reason

Aye I appreciate that , but still doesn't explain the black "inside look" running all the way from eye to point ...

O well Will catch well anyway whatever the oddity is
