Default Emerald Wet May

Was stopped tying these until a nice green hackle showed up in my box so i thought Emerald green.

Hook; b175 size 10 kamazan
Tail; cock pheasant
Body; olive seals fur
Body hackle; emerald green
Rib; green holo tinsel, followed by oval gold wire
Shoulder hackle; emerald green
Head hackle; 3 turns of 2 picric french partridge

That's lovely tying. Am printing it out as I type this message. Your french partridges are v well tied. I am going to tie up a couple like that and then mix in a few dyed English partridge. They give a really good speckled effect!

You've certainly raised the bar on the partridge mayfly type of fly geordie, so much so, I think its about time I got my stuff together and get a few of them done. Love this one
