Default scuds / fresh water shrimps

Recently while searching on more of the history of the big Loch ( Loch Leven ) and finding sites that have done studies on the aquatic life etc, it would seem that scuds / shrimps are a popular source for the trout , or at least can be a potential source on a brown trout's menu .
sadly i can't find the sites i had found a couple of days ago, despite searching for it lol.
what i am wandering is would it be worth while tying up a few scud patterns and giving them a soaking to try out ? or just go ahead and let the trout decide if it would be worth while lol.
as it is mainly Loch fishing i will be doing.

i already have flies to cover most conditions , water , situations. but i need flea ideas as theres still 6 more weeks of fly tying meets, and at the moment the other lads are just suffering from wet dream moments with tying everything in UV materials and using a UV nail varnish on JC cheeks. and all you can hear coming from the other table is oooo thats braw , oooo thats a cracking colour , wooo aaaa that will scare the bloody fish or blind them. followed by give the torch a second i want a look.

Dependant on your browser, try this. Top of the page go to history, click on it & then you should get a box which gives todays, yesterdays, last weeks, months etc. double click on the one you want to open, then scroll down to the thing you need & double click on it.

history would be a good idea but i set mines to clear all history. purely because i look at so many sites for work and for fishing history that it would still be impossible to find. i recently cleared up my bookmarks folder as i had over 2000 sites in total.
