Default Some grayling flies

Well i have been grayling fishing a whopping once so I am farily new to the scene. Just wanted some constructive criticism on some of my ties and your thoughts on using them for the ladies (and hopefuly a few browns in a matter of weeks).

First off two orange nymphs
1) An orange copper john type thing

Hook: 14 B175
Head: 2.3mm tungsten goldhead
Tail and legs: Goose biot
Abdomen: Hot orange copper wire
Thorax: Orange seals fur

2)On orange PT nymph (really just a stillwater fly i use)

Hook: 14 B175
Tail and legs: Goose biot
Abdomen: Pheasant tail
Rib: copper wire
Thorax: Orange seals fur

3) A pink bug which caught me 7 grayling and 3 trees!

Hook: 12 Jardines red grayling bug
Back: Pink Thin Skin
Abdomen: Pink hares ear
Thorax: Gerry's electro pink
Under Rib: Thin mirage
Over Rib: Pink tying thread

4) A spent olive type thingy, never tried to tie this sort of fly before so really is a work in progress which i would be most grateful for suggestions for.

Hook: 12 B175
Abdomen and thorax: olive hares ear with sparkle
Wings: Split thread dubbed CDC
Thorax cover: pheasant tail

Comments/criticisms most welcome.

Nice flies Dan,the only thing i could suggest is to use a lighter hook for the 2 dries at the bottom,

What hooks do you suggest the only dryfly hooks i have are the B400s and i just dont like the upturned eye on them. What would you recommend as a down turned fine gauge alternative?

I guess they would sit a lot higher and be mroe attractive in a fine gauge so will defo give it a go.

hi mate they're cracking flies and they will def catch. my favourites are the orange tungstun copper john and the pink bug. grayling (and the browns in a couple of weeks) will be throwing themselves at them mate. is the orange ptn weighted? the reason i ask is i use a similar one on a size 14 and i've had a few last season with it.

No mate i normally fish it as a dropper ressie fishing but could easily add some lead to the thorax. I do have a few bead headed versions of the same thing which work well stalking on clear stillwaters.
