Default My best dry olive in 2005/6

I hope that there's not too many pics in this for you, but you would do far worst than to include it in your tying programme for 2007, tight lines.

Just remember when you are tying it on the leader that you turn your back to the water, if not they may just take it out of your hand

Gwilym, you legend !

I got one of your vids for Christmas last year and a fine effort it was too. I can hear Santa coming now !

Nice fly .......why do you tie the wings forward ? Is it something to do with how flies emerge ?

Thanks

Highlander, even if offered, please don't take St. Peters job. I would hate to know that I wouldn't have a chance of getting through the pearly gates if you were on duty.

Hi all, Sage ,Dee is a raging torrent at the moment, so there's time to tie flies and take the dog for a walk etc... Spider, yes they do break out of the shuck like this, the wings become quite splayed for a short period, possibly to dry them off, been watching them in a tank, for reasons unknown it works better than the F fly and shuttlecock on occassions, which vid have you got?, Highlander I hope you get to heaven, despite Otters view,I did not take the pics someone mailed them to me, but I will take some of interesting patterns and methods over the winter to share with you Scotfly, and thanks Tango for detailing the materials, I also use mouse instead of mole, catch them in a trap, then its a haircut job before I feed them to the Owl
