Following on from the 'Double Trouble Olive' (double trouble = winged & semi-dabbled), I give you the Double Trouble Black & Blae. As yet untried, but I've high hopes for this one early season - top dropper, buzzer hatch maybe; or as a genral wet anywhere on the leader on upland waters, lochs etc.

Double Trouble Black & Blae


Hook: B175 14, 12 or 10
Tail: Medium/light Dun cock
Rib: Twisted Mirage
Body Mix: 80% Black seals fur, pinch of squirrel, pinch of Polar Ice Dub
Body Hackle: Grizzle hen
Wing: Jay
Throat: Bronze mallrd
Shoulder: Bronze mallard - 'Semi-Dabbled' (sides only)
Thread: Black UTC

Semi-dabbled,fully hobbled,double palmered.........things are getting too complicated around here......

Nice end result though mate, I can see a fair bit of fishy appeal.
