Question Hooks...

Me again,

I'm guessing I'll mostly be tying nymphs, dries and buzzers. I know each pattern will have a hook type which is best suited, but for now to keep costs down are there any hook types that give a decent overlap between fly types ? And if so what sizes are most common?

Kamasan B175's will suit your buzzers , nymphs and some dries (shuttlecocks for example). A good place to start but you can get any kamasan hooks for A fiver per 100 from various places so it won't break the bank to get specific hooks for all your flies.

Mainly reservoirs. The one I visit most is about 40ish acres I think.

As an all rounder Kamasan's b175 takes a lot of beating, there are identical hooks such as Hayabusa's 761 etc which are often found at a similar or lower price when Kam's are out of stock or the p&p charges are high.
