On the whole, for a first attempt it's not bad. I'd be inclined to make the wings a bit smaller though as it might be a pain to cast.

What do the wings look like when you lift it off the water and make a second presentation? Wouldn't the profile be destroyed? I'd be inclined to use something like McFlylon for the wings.

Dont know if its just me but I always end up with loads of line twist using that style of fly....
