This was my top leven fly in 99 it accounted for hundreds of browns that year the big competition scene is finished on the loch these days myself and overwintered had over 60 fish one day on this one ....this little marvel outfished anything on the loch that year from mid June through till the end of the season ....for years after that it worked well but not the same as 99.
To tie this see my SBS on the clan chief its the same idea apart from gold holo body

Do you use the gold holo more, than the plain gold in your flies? or does it just depend on the fly?
