Spider is on a distinguished road
Default Streamer pattern

Can anyone advise me of an easy to tie Streamer pattern . Am hoping to chuck a few pof these this season but dont want to spend all day trying sculpins etc. Would also perefer something thats not to heavy as will only be using either an 8.5ft or 9ft 5wt rod........thanks

Spider, what about trying Oliver Edwards snappy poodle fly?

Given it was an Ollie pattern, i assumed it was tough to tie so didnt go near his stuff. Will check, Cheers.

I was going to suggest this one too, you can get a video of the tying by OE on his Streamers DVD. Beware the Roman Moser heads are expensive tho (I used a subs of a bead head )

You may try wolie..it is easy to tie and one very deadly patern

Here is one mine,refrase, my favourit
