Really like it as a work of art, which it undoubtedly is................................. but, would it be better with a black tail? I've used a bit of swan cdc from time to time and found it inferior to mallard cdc.

Still, its a canny fly.

Could be on to somthing with a black tail. Its just a version of Hans van Klinken's i done.

Great looking fly Greenock looks as if it may be cllose to a Palimino again but that doesn't detract from your inventiveness. Be pleased to learn how it does in field trials.
