Default Fly Tying Station

I have been having trouble clamping my vice to the table at the fly tying club that I attend.
This is due to the shape of the edge of the table. So I have been looking
on the net to see what is available, but the price of what is on the
market is over the top plus shipping.

So I made my own.
The base is oak, the upstand is mahgony.
The dimensions are 410x255x55mm in old money 16x10x2 1/4 inches.
Is this of any intrest to anyone else ?Click the image to open in full size.

Default Fly Tying Station

Thank you Carperjim for the post.

The idea of the Fly Tying Station that I have made is it is portable.
Also I can sit it on lap.

All the best
Gary.
