Default Bloodworms blank busters

Im looking for the best materials to tie some wee apps bloodworms up. I haven't had a go at these before. Im interested in tying the pink bodied ones with red flexi floss.

I know they are easy to tie but my flexi floss is too soft/stringy

So lets see your bloodworms then.

This is what I came up with for fishing under an indicator on my local small put and take stillwater.I have not used it yet but it should work.

It has a red flexifloss body, red marabou tail, red SLF thorax and 2mm brass gold head on a curved 2200 Varivas size 14 (strong but fine wire)

I've got a few, where do you want to start?

Looks like a telephone exchange, I know!

Here's a few 2 minute to tie jobs, in red Spanflex and a strand of red flashabou. Tied these for Mullet but would no doubt interest trout as well.

Hi

To be honest im not a huge fan of the App's , simply on looks ! dam ugly bulky fly takes up alot of room in my box legs all over the place makes it untidy. I tried un weighted one much like timmys but only two legs front ,two back........... had limited success.

I was at a fishery one day guy across from me was knocking seven shades out of the fish using a floating line and the pattern below 8 legs (no bung )

Ugly buggers but i tied a few up ..................... worked a treat !

size 10 B175

3.3mm gold head .........i think ? possibly 3.8mm set back (nomad style)

Uni - fire orange

I think it was spanflex ? it comes in lengths cable tied at the top and its rounder profile than the similar stuff that come on spools.
