Hi DF, taking fly pics outside is a heck of lot easier than faffing around with lighting/set-up indoors. Always pic an overcast day though. Direct sunlight will kill you colours and cause strong highlights/shadows.
The yellowy cast on your pic is probably just down to the wrong white balance setting. Looks like you've used tungsten lighting with white balance set for outdoors, or possibly auto. The auto white balance (AWB) isn't always perfect and can also give a cast.
If you want to take more indoors, then select
Tungsten white balance (symbolised by a bulb icon) and see how you go. If that still doesn't look right then try
custom white balance (symbolised by the two little triangles with a rectangle in the middle).
