Been fooling around with the picric materials that some of the kind folks here have supplied me with

picric spey

HooK Size 1.5 Alex Jackson (gold)
Counter Rib: Gold
Floss: dull Yellow
Hackle: Black marabou
Throat: picric dyed hen pheasant
Wing: picric dyed bronze mallard

Picric Soft Hackle Bead Head:

Bead: Steelhead Blue (Real Fly Color Beads)
Abdomen: Picric Dyed Flexi Floss
Thorax: Picric Dyed Seal Fur
Hackle: Picric Dyed Hen Pheasant
