Mmm - is it actually "fly tying" ... ?

Seems a quick and simple way of creating a pattern - nowt wrong with that, not much difference to painting a hook really.

Kind regards

Uuuumm!!!! first Iv seen or heard of it, but they look like they will catch fish.
Add wire rib and and a couple of coats of hard as nails I would use it.

Hi, I like them and am sure they would catch, but if you can tie them you could surely tie with thread. Other than speed I dont really see the point of them over a more conventional method.

I have used these Naiad Nymphs for 3 1/2 years and caught more than 4000 trout on them. My best colours are all white and Black Body White Head. Other colours which go well are All Yellow, All Orange and All Black. Fish them static or very very slow figure of 8.

Hi Noel
These nymphs are so simple to make - no thread , no whipping tools, no varnish , no blocked eyes - just wrap the strip on the hook and hey presto you have a nymph that catches fish. They are are also virtually indestructible - if the material sticks to airliners going at 600mph at -40c to +40c in all weathers it will certainly stick to a hook on the end of a fly line. We use them a lot in France. I personally have caught more than 4'000 trout on them.
