Tail; black/ brown cock pheasant breast feather
Body; olive seals fur
Body hackle; picric yellow
Rib; oval gold wire
Throat hackle; crimson
Head hackles; picric french partridge

A cracker looking may that will deffo catch fish on any of the irish loughs

Cheers Greg....i fished lough Carromore at Bangor Erris and i seen guys catching salmon on yellow shrimp patterns, im just wondering have you tried the silver boys on Melvin?....im thinking this one could take a couple you know.

Lovely mayflies I have never fished them but have always liked the look of them

We could may..be frame this one

I was fishing the black water river here in NI at Augher about 30yrs ago and there was a beautiful fly hatching, a big mother as far as flies go and it was a pale yellowy green colour, if i had have had this fly then i would say i was in touch with the hatch.

Im hoping to actually do some river fishing this year during mayfly time so I have been filling my boxes with all sorts.
