Thank you lads
Mr.G ...I''ll give my best to do so
Mr.Bruce..I am "copy cat" .
I use lamb wool for body, roll mallard feather couple times, use some owl body feather for wings and jay for neck.
Also,i must admit that i never use jay expet for Inivicta and i like this blue touch.

Those flies are fine mate. Never judge a fly by its looks cause you never know how well its gonna work when it hits the water

Some great efforts there.
If you want any constructive criticism I'd say try and use only three or four cock pheasant centre tail fibres for the tail and tie them in on top of the hook with the natural curve going upwards. It is only a small point but it makes a huge difference to the look of the finished fly. Any more and this style of fly looks a little unbalanced and tail heavy.
I like your last effort best, it is more in keeping with the traditional patterns although I thought the black one would be great too.
I do use pheasant feathers for hackles but they can be a bit too stiff to give much movement.
Partridge flank, Chukkar or Whiting Black laced hen are my favourite feathers for the front hackle. The black laced hen is really nice as it comes in lots of bright colours with a black tip.
